Since 2008, Jablon Productions has been working directly with Oxbow to bring the long lasting surf-wear brand to a new level. During this time we have created:
5 MAJOR BRAND FILMS
As part of a major celebration of the Oxbow brand, for the Totally Bananas tour, we created 5 brand films, showcased in various locations across Europe. The events brought the team riders together with key brand leaders and major stakeholders. One of the films encapsulated the 25 year history of the brand, which meant digesting 25 years of footage, in a record time!
30 RIDERS’ PORTRAIT VIDEOS
30 individual films were created to portray the uniqueness of the Oxbow riders. This was a major piece of work that required brand consistency to sew together a wide spectrum of footage.
3 TEAM VIDEOS
The Oxbow team represent the DNA of the brand. We created 3 films to communicate their values from core athletes to the explorers, through to the younger generation.
VIRAL CAMPAIGN VIDEOS
We produced a series of viral videos including campaigns for, the young legend, Kai Lenny and, windsurfer, Levi Siver.
OXBOW’S BRAND IDENTS
We created a library of animated idents for the brand, including the Oxbow sting, which were used across all Oxbow’s films.
We delivered the authoring of 2 DVDs for major Oxbow films, The Waterman Experience and Walls of Perception. This involved sourcing and managing the production of 150 000 copies distributed in 5 countries, as well as the translation into 4 languages.
FILM SHOOT IN NICARAGUA
Toma Jablon spent a week on location in Nicaragua to capture some kite-surfing action. Footage was used for one of Oxbow’s kite surf brand film.
CONTRIBUTING IN OXBOW’S LEGACY
Laird Hamilton is Oxbow’s ambassador and legend. The younger generation of riders, such as the crowned champion Kai Lenny, follow in his steps. We understand how important it is that young athletes are promoted within the industry, to create a bright future, and we believe in our collaboration with Oxbow.
